Terms of Use

The AUNIC database is a public service provided by .au Domain Administration Limited (ACN 079 009 340) ("auDA").

By submitting a query on the AUNIC database ("AUNIC") you agree with auDA that you will only use the data retrieved for a lawful purpose and will not, under any circumstances, use the data to

  1. allow, enable or otherwise support the transmission of unsolicited, commercial advertising or solicitations via email or otherwise; or
  2. support your own or a third party high volume automated electronic query process. Whether or not any automated query process is "high volume" shall be determined by auDA in its absolute discretion.

Disclaimer of Liability

The data in AUNIC is provided to assist you with information about or related to a particular domain name registration record ("Record"). auDA accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of any Record and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, disclaims all liability (including contract and in tort) with regard to the database and its contents.

Copyright in AUNIC is owned by auDA. Apart from any use permitted by the Copyright Act 1968, you must not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, repackage, upload to a third party, post, transmit, communicate to the public or distribute the data in the database in any form or by any means except to the extent necessary to utilise the auDA query tools and retain the search results or as expressly authorised by the Terms of Use or in writing by auDA.

auDA may modify the terms of these Terms of Use, Disclaimer of liability and Copyright Notice at any time.
