The following information only applies to delegation requests performed by Robert Elz (the administrator of org.au until 29 Jan 2002). On 29 Jan auDA took over responsibility for org.au, and changed org.au delegations to use autodns, so that delegation requests are now processed automatically within 2 hours.

Any delegation requests made before that date that have not been processed were either lost somewhere and need to be resubmitted (unlikely) or refer to nameservers that have not been correctly configured, or do not respond to queries. The nameservers need to be corrected, and the delegation requested again.

It may take a few hours after the delegations are processed before the new DNS delegations are visible in the org.au nameservers.
